Grants for Research Networks from IAMSCU/SMT

Applications are invited from individuals wishing to establish a new research network through IAMSCU (International Association of Methodist Schools, Colleges and Universities) and the Southlands Methodist Trust.

Grants are available for up to $2,000 (USD) per year, for a maximum period of three years, to support the gathering of individuals and grouping of projects where there are shared interests and cross-over of work within, and between, Methodist HE institutions. The aim of this will be to offer peer support, mutual learning, and to generate collaborative activity (e.g. seminars, conferences, newsletters, shared research, resources) for the advancement of learning and the flourishing of society in accordance with Methodist values.

Applications are invited from researchers working in or associated with Methodist-related Higher Education Institutions. There is no restriction on their geographical location and Methodist-related is defined as any institution founded in a Methodist or Wesleyan tradition and which sustains formal associations with such a denomination.

Methods of researching and working collaboratively should be able to demonstrate the embodiment of the values of inclusion and respect advocated by IAMSCU. Grants will be funded by IAMSCU and SMT.
