’22Q’ Project outputs

We’re delighted to report two new outputs from a project supported by a grant from the Southlands Methodist Trust. Dr Maria Gudbrandsen and Dr Michelle Jayman of the School of Psychology at the University of Roehampton have researched the experiences of children and young people with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Informed by their research findings, they collaborated with these young people to develop a toolkit of resources for educators, to foster inclusive practice in schools. This included a poster, a pocket guide and a video. You can find the resources and more here.

They have also published an academic article in Frontiers in Education journal, entitled ‘Fostering healthy schools for students with SEND through co-production: creating an educational toolkit to support young people with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome’. This is accessible here.
