MTSE Gathering

Methodist-related Theological Schools in Europe (MTSE) is an organisation that brings together leaders of institutions from across European Higher Education to discuss their work for the education and training in Methodism and for Methodists. An informal network during the 1980s, MTSE first gathered formally in 1994, in Tallinn. Since then, it has nurtured mutual support and development, the sharing of ideas and best practice, and a range of formal and informal collaborations between institutions, including the Methodist e-Academy. The February 2025 meeting of MTSE took place in Prague, and under the leadership of President Hilde Marie Øgreid Movafagh, Rector of the Norwegian Methodist seminary. This picture shows the Head of Southlands College gathered in the Prague central Methodist church with representatives of Methodist institutions from nations including Russia, Estonia, Switzerland and Germany.
