Southlands College recently celebrated the many stars among its students and staff, holding its annual awards and dinner event to honour outstanding contributions from the community. The event, on 20 March, brought together students, faculty members, and members of the Southlands Methodist Trust.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Christopher Stephens, Head of College, followed by the presentation of awards recognising excellence in academics, leadership, and community engagement. Recipients of these awards were celebrated for their contribution and positive impact on the Southlands community.
Attendees enjoyed a delightful dinner and had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with fellow students, faculty, and SMT colleagues. A standout moment of the evening was when all attendees united to sing the beloved Southlands song, led by Gulliver Ralston, the music director.
The event served as a wonderful occasion to celebrate success, foster connections, and showcase the collective achievements of the college community.
