As part of the University of Roehampton, Southlands is a centre for teaching and learning, research, and knowledge exchange. It is home to the Faculty of Business and Law, including its Centre for Sustainability and Ethical Business, Music Education, including its Applied Music Research Centre, and the Southlands Methodist Trust, including the Susanna Wesley Foundation. It is also home to eSports and community music.
The founding mission of the college remains to transform lives through values-driven, high-quality education for people of all backgrounds.
The Southlands Transformation Project consists of two strands that weave together to enhance the college and the learning experience of the student community.
Transforming Lives is a bursary programme established to improve access to education for people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Transforming Spaces will develop enhanced learning environments and flexible student spaces, opening up the college to the local community.
Be part of the vision: this is an ambitious project, supporting students and changing the environment in which they live and study. In order to achieve it, the Southlands Transformation Fund is seeking support and partnership from individuals and organisations.
